- Observe Temperature Limits: Never exceed the maximum temperature threshold of 250°C, as doing so can degrade the nitrile compound and cause severe burn injuries.
- Intermittent Contact Only: Fabric liners conduct heat over extended periods. Limit contact to short, brief intervals, then remove or reposition the glove to allow it to cool down.
- Zero Open Flame Exposure: Nitrile rubber is not fireproof. Avoid direct contact with open fires, red-hot heating coils, or charcoal beds, as the polymer will melt.
- Pre-Shift Inspection: Check before every use for micro-tears, puncture paths, or signs of heat hardening (stiffness, stickiness, discoloration). Discard damaged units immediately.
